June 10, 2019 (Afternoon)
Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Spent my entire morning trying to sign up for college classes that were impossible to figure out and then my whole afternoon in first aid/CPR training for the camp I'm working at. By the time I got home, needless to say, I was exhausted and grumpy. Forced myself out for a run (as usual just before dinner so I didn't have much time), but oh my gosh it was glorious. Just a spectacular run. And to be fair it wasn't that long, but I just felt fantastic. Went Reno to Porter to Connecticut to Van Ness home. The first half was mostly downhill and I just felt like I was flying and then the second half was a slight hill up Connecticut and then the big hill up Van Ness and they were hard, but I kept chugging along and still felt good. I'm very proud of myself because in past years my first week of running has been 10-12 minute horrible runs where I felt awful and now I've been doing 20ish-30 min runs feeling just a little out of shape! Bodes well for summer and fall I think!
