Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Headed into Fresh Pond state park again just north of Bethany. Was feeling slugging at first, but pushed myself to run the measured mile along the highway pretty hard, clocking in at around 6:13. Once in the park,I kept a decent clip as well and ended up averaging 7:30 for the whole run. Not too tiring! Along the way, I saw a large turtle setting in the middle of the path, a meter-long black snake sliding its way across the pavement several years in front of me in large S-shaped curves, and large brown bird soaring low overhead that I'd like to think was a hawk.
