July 18, 2019 (Afternoon)
Exercise Type: Run
Weather: 95 degrees and humid
Comments:
Ran with Corbin, Paige, Amory, and Jeff to start. We went down into Rock Creek and in the direction of the zoo and Pierce Mill. Pace was quick but I felt in control and normal the whole time. Knee was acting up for the first 5 minutes and the left shin pain was an issue that was there for brief moments. The heat and corbins ankle were also issues so we stopped for a couple mins at Pierce Mill to cool down before hitting the hill. Stopped a couple more times on the way back and the rolling hills sucked but again I felt ok. Hit that runners high at 4.5 miles and for about 5 mins I could breathe out of my nose, felt great. Last hill back up to St. Albans was a pain but we actually dropped the pace quite a bit in the last 0.5 which was actually nice. Was breathing hard at the head and the humidity was no joke.
Got back did core, while stretching Corbin repeatedly explained that he was a “shy guy” as we taunted him about his comments involving sliding in DMs. A suggestion to slide into the great Katelyn Tuhoys DMs was met with the response “I’m to shy”. I’m starting to notice more and more of my logs are centered around Corbin, we did say two years ago that the era of the Buchwald had begun soooo.
