Lacers

July 25, 2019 (Afternoon)

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
With the departure of Arthur, Natasha, and Corbin, I felt like a light had gone out in the world of St. Albans summer running. Who would allow us to maintain a sufficient level of goofiness in their absence? Ruby, Ella, and Camilla--that's who! Way to step it up girls, keeping this team as silly as it was meant to be. Ruby decided our group needed a name and since she'd already made up stop so she could tie her shoes tighter (they have double-knotted already and had not chance of falling off) I suggested calling us the "lacers". I too had to re-lace my shoes after an acorn someone got into one. We ran out Mass to Westmoreland and back, doing 2-3 minute pickups up each of the long hills. Kinda like a mini-general soul crusher, summer edition. I'm proud to report that all three of them are in superb shape for this time of year. We stopped on the way back to stick our heads in an ornamental corporate fountain.
