All of Rittenhouse

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
I fulfilled a lifelong (okay, weeklong) dream of running the entire DC length of Rittenhouse Street from Western Avenue to Eastern Avenue (plus some trails in the park to fill in the gaps). I was joined by three fearless and talented college harriers. A brief tour of Fort Stevens where President Lincoln was shot at by confederate soldiers in Jubel Early's raid on Washington was in order, as was a sumptuous dip in Rock Creek on the way home. Pace was comfortable the whole way (well, for one of us) and the temps were reasonable though it was relentlessly sunny. I only got us lost once or twice.

(If my mileage is a little off from Ana's its because I ran with Rhianna back to her house and then back to mine after dropping off the Gunther sisters).
