Overall decent workout, not amazing or terrible, just kind of decent. Legs were a bit heavy from the weight room stuff I did earlier in the day and the humidity was killer.
Started with a 7 minute warmup. We then did a 1 minute pickup at 5:55 pace. Next pickup was 2 minutes at a 5:50 pace. Next was a 1:30 at 5:55 (oof). Next a 30 second pickup at 5:30 followed by another 1:30 pickup which was 5:38 (better). Finished it off with a 1 minute pickup at 5:01 pace (that’s better).
Workout finished well with some mentally sluggish moments in between.
Overall though, not very hard and my breathing was steady most of the time. Legs felt decent but knee gave out once or twice. Shin wasn’t an issue but my ankles were dying on the cooldown (probably because the form broke down).
Overall solid day for getting the legs moving under me again.
