Feeling Good!

I wrote the most perfect log for today, and then running-log crashed and I lost it and I'm super upset about it. I can't replicate it, but I'm gonna try to rewrite what I remember.

I had an especially rough day at camp today and got home in a very bad mood. Moped for a while and and debated whether or not to go to summer running. On one hand, I usually feel better after hanging out with the team and getting exercise, but on the other it's also been making me kind of sad to go and feel like I'm not really a part of the team in the same way anymore. I was tempted to just keep moping, but at the last minute I pulled myself together and decided to go. Smart decision. Good job, Hannah.

My issue with summer running these days is that I'm in shape enough to run the length of the longest group, but I definitely can't go that pace. Thought maybe I'd push the pace and go with the middle group today, but the STA guy refused to give me any sense of his intended pace, so I took that as a bad sign and went with the shortest and slowest group. Ran mostly with Natasha, Colleen, and Sabina (NCS) on Reno to Porter I think to Connecticut and back up Woodley to Garfield. When we got back I was still feeling good, so I asked if anyone wanted to extend. Sabina joined me for 5 minutes, but I was still feeling good, so I kept going. Ended up adding on 10 minute loops and coming back to near the Cathedral multiple times until I got to an hour! Very proud of myself and gonna count this as my first long run of my half marathon training. I wrote this really nice thing about running related to this run in particular in my last log before it crashed and I lost it, but I don't feel like trying to redo it now, and this log is like 2 weeks late because every time I tried to finish it, log was down, so I'm going to finish this run-on sentence and this log here.
