Haviventure

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Lauren Silberman, Havidon, and I ran from Candy Cane City to Lauren's house where Hannah had parked her car. The two of them had walked down from there to meet me. I think they'd planned for this to be like a 2-mile run but alas the trail was closed underneath where they're tearing down the trestle so we (meaning me) insisted on slight detour. We could have gone left (west) to avoid the mess, but would have led us on to boring busy roads like East-West Highway. So instead I lead up up onto the Silver Spring Side and around Forest Glen Annex. Lauren eventually bailed and called an Uber, and Hannah and I made our way around eventually rejoining rock creek park by the Beltway and staying on it till we reached the Audibon Center. I discovered Hannah has very little sense of direction (or clear memory of places she's driven) since I managed to fool her multiple times into thinking that a house up ahead was Lauren's despite the neighborhood looking completely different. Hot day for a run, but a solid trot nonetheless. (My mileage here includes the time it to took to reach Candy Cane City before I met up with them.)
