Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Met up with our superduper new cross country captains at the bold hour of 7:20am (Mrs. Mostashari proved to be a real trooper for waking up at the crack of down to drive her daughter to Virginia before going back to sleep again). The goofballs and I wandered along the Arlington Country-Fairfax Country line (formerly the DC border until 1847). We found 3 of the original boundary stones placed there in 1791 by Andrew Ellicott and Benjamin Banneker, with some help from google maps and the photos on Wikipedia. We also climbed a mountain of dirt and hay, sprinted across a soccer field, cut through several backyards, scaled some steep embankments, and a got a brief personalized tour of Abby's life before GDS. Typical run.
