MD Heights is still hard to run up

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: pretty nice, all in all, moderate humidity, some coolness to the air

Comments:
Shuttled two loads to the mountain and after transporting the heavy table and cooler of Gatorade into position, I sent the three 7am bus loads up the trail and paused for 90 seconds or so. I then set off along after them. Caught up to most, except three kids and Ethan Burns. 12:13 to the level ground. Ran at a moderate effort for all, but I was definitely hurting on the final climb. Still, despite not be in very good shape this year, i think the hills work I've done in the past few weeks was valuable. Stood on the level ground until all had passed and then jogged down to the Overlook in 6 minutes or so. After everyone headed back, I ran back up to the level ground in 7 minutes or so. Doubled back to some who were walking behind. returned to level ground and then added two minutes up the trail towards the stone fort. Doubled back and ran to the canal for a Gatorade. Felt almost satisfying, and I was very impressed with the effort of the team and by how many people ran with minimal breaks or no walking at all.
