A trot w/ the gang

Gathered together with Matt Siff, Asher Boorstein, Abby Murphy, and Caleb Stutman-Shaw at Caleb's house right after my run w/ Peter Silverman for a trot around the neighborhood. My hope was to catch some leaves, which I did, though Abby continued to increase her leaf-lead over me. After going--I swear--a mere four blocks from his house, Caleb swore he had never been down this street (Military Road) and had no idea where we were. We all talked for a while about how we didn't understand Viriginia ( well, except Abby) and considered to be a single point on the map. None of the kids had ever run through the Little Forest before that lies at the intersection of Military Road and 30th Street, just past Temple Sinai. We found a lean-to in there. Other adventures ensued as we made our way through Rock Creek part and back up along what Siff says is basically the Satellite Loop. May have gone a teeeny bit longer than we were supposed to, but the pace was gentle so I think everyone will be fine. What delightful company for a Sunday run!
