Sweet track workout. Did it while Tony was doing some work on the track too so it made things a ton of fun.
workout was just a classic 8x400m at mile pace with 4x30 sprints at the start. Now you might ask, what is mile pace? Apparently somewhere around 77 seconds per quarter? It was really all about feel. 80 sec was the starting point and I worked into it from there.
splits:
77, 78, 77, 75, 76, 78, 75, 75
striders/sprints felt good. Wore the lighter shoes that don't feel as floppy or flexible and they're way more comfortable for running fast.

Felt like my core and upper body in general is a little bit weaker than ideal for right now? the second half of most of the reps I felt like I didn't have as much to push off of in a sense. Or that my form was a little more loose than I'd like. could just be that I'm not used to going at speed right now.
adding 1 mile to cooldown to add in distance jogging around during the rest periods
