BK and AU

ran over to BK, didn't feel amazing going over but probably just because Battery Kemble isn't my favorite hill to run. Annie, Ella, Arya, and I got there a few minutes later than everyone else because we went to the bathroom, but we were just in time to start the warmup with everyone. It was extremely dusty and kind of hard to breathe while everyone was kicking up the dry dirt on the ground. Annie and all of the enviro people called it particulate matter so I learned that today. We did a few striders in our groups today which were NEW!! the toll rodes gained a ton of people but lost Abby :( and Ella :(. We were doing 4 BK hills with a short sprint on the top of the hill. On the first one, we definitely went a little fast because my legs were not happy at the end. They felt like complete jello while I was doing the sprint at the top. I'm not completely sure why but when I did these hills at the end of the spring season with William I remember them being easier. But that also is probably because I did a long run yesterday and a race the day before, mid-season grind!! Anyway, the next three were definitely hard, but I finished them. Then Anthony announced that we were going to AU!!! I was very excited because I really like the track workouts and I was not feeling another hill. So we ran on over and I waited in a pretty long line to get some water. We were doing a 200 then a 400 then another 200. I was super excited to be doing speed work because I missed it a little bit. I felt super fast and light running the 200 then I felt the same on the 400 and the last 200. ON the last 200 Anthony said tp focus on the form, so I did and I tried hard to think about moving my legs and arms. The track workout was super fun and we ran back to school. At school, we stretched outside to watch the soccer game and I kind of lost track of time and accidentally stayed a little late at school, but I didn't have much homework so it's fine.
