...and this something is that it's ready for a rest. This past weekend I felt wierdly sore and slugging. On Monday that was gone but my hamstring immediately started hurting and got worse as I ran. There was never anything sudden, but it just kept lingering all that day and the next, feeling really tight. I skipped running Tuesday and Wednesday as a result. Today after a solid 9 1/2 hours of sleep I woke up and went running with Biersteker. The pain in my hamstring was gone but now my left calf was really tight from the get go. It loosened up a little as we ran but continue to bug me all day. I'm gonna run either really light tomorrow or not at all, race Saturday, fun shakeout Sunday, and then call it a season. Hopefully I can still eek out a good time at Rachel's Run Saturday.
