Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
...and I'll add to that that we had a prospective 9th grader on this run named Ellie (I think?) who I think had a good time. As Lil' G said, this was the most GDS run imaginable, complete with a Ft. Reno Hill Distance-Sprinter Bonding Workout ending with a "run good" cheer at the top of the reservoir as the sun sank below the horizon. I assume after a run this like it should be crystal clear whether this is the team for you.

Back in the second-floor hallway, Olivia Gottdenker and I showed off our skating moves. Not surprisingly, she can whip around much faster in the air than I can even without ice. I threw a match into a proverbial haystack by asking the five junior girls present (Annie, Camilla, Ella, Olivia, Ruby) to once again rank themselves in order of maturity. The addition of my fellow former figure skater this winter has shifted the spectrum as we now realize it is possible to act reasonable grown-up and responsible while still being in 11th grade (ahem, Ella, Annie, and Ruby). William Miezan's assessment was fascinatingly off-base. The tables were soon turned however and the athletes decided to rank us coaches. In terms of (im)maturity, Myles and I are apparently the Ella and Ruby of the coaching staff. We then all concluded that those of us ranked at the bottom are actually the most fun. I was nearly 7pm by the time we all decided to go home: exactly how the fall semester of running supposed to end.
