so much excitement in one run!

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
I came to practice and so many alumn had come back! We warmed up and ran over to fort reno to meet up with the sprinters! we did 5 hills at fort reno then heard about the captains for this season. Oh, also there was an 8th grader named Ellie who came to look at GDS and run with the team today. We went on a run down Connecticut then we turned right at some point with a big group. Matt Siff was very insistent on finding a tree, which was very confusing at first but then we found it! it is a descendant of the apple tree with the apple that fell on newton's head. very cool. then we kept running and Camilla pointed out a beautifully decorated house. it had lights covering the entire lawn and a bunch of the blowup things. There was also a table with food and coffee on their porch. so we went to get some. I had half a cup of cold coffee but that's okay because I don't like hot drinks. then we ran back to school. it was a super fun run and I'm glad Ellie got to be here today because If I visited a team that did runs like that, I would definitely go to the school. also, Ana logged the run as 1:02:00 so I'm going to do that.
