Comments:
Jon Ettinger and I pounded out a solid 11 miles or so up Beach Drive into Maryland and back via a confusing and roundabout route of my devising. My shins were a bit skeptical that this was a good idea. On the whole I just felt still and a bit worn, but cardiovascular-wise I felt very in control, despite breathing hard at times. We were frequently below a 7-minute pace on the flats
