Tower of London

January 17, 2020 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
I decided I needed an actual easy day, though I didn't quite pull it off. With Wednesday's workout and yesterday's supposedly-medium run already in my legs, I set off at a relaxed clip and made no effort to try to push things. Even so, my legs felt weary on a few miles in, though they did perk up somewhat later. Ran through downtown for the first time to the City of London (the ancient square mile where the oldest buildings and a lot of skyscrapers are), around the rather low and squat fortress misleadingly named the "Tower" of London, over tower bridge (which, as bridges go, is pretty towering), back through a famous covered market called Borough Market which reminded me of crossing the East River into Brooklyn, and then back through central London to home.
