North to Hampstead Heath

Comments:
This was a pretty mediocre run, though still fun at times. I just wasn't feeling fresh at all after the first mile, and that was discouraging. I guess I have to admit that my natural pace just isn't as low as I want to be yet and that going in the lower half of the 7s will not normally feel like an easy day. Not so much soreness but fatigue and mostly in my quads. I did get to enjoy some lovely views of London, found some Ethiopian restaurants, passed a cemetery where Karl Marx is buried, explored the charming suburbs of Highgate and Hampstead where I stopped for a beard trim and to buy a carton of fresh raspberries, and meandered around the muddy trails of Hampstead Heath.
