Finally a real workout that wasn't ruined.
Still wasn't perfect - the Roxboro middle school track was half covered in ice. So I sort of measured around 200m starting from about the 50 through about the 250. Wasn't perfect but it was consistent at least.
Also there were a few ice patches on the section I did that certainly led to a little slipping during the reps. But overall I was very pleased with the effort and speed I was able to keep up.

workout was 8x200m @800 pace with 2 minutes rest
6x30 striders to start felt pretty good. Although I didn't feel super quick or effortless. I think the harder than average easy run yesterday with heavy shoes, snow and ice were a factor.
for the intervals themselves it definitely took a few to get comfortable with the speed/rest balance - I was probably too conservative on the first few.
Workout was certainly a good effort but it was very comfortable. Cooldown was more like 1.5 miles but added on extra for active recovery during reps.
