Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Ran down the amazing international street food market that takes place every Sunday on Brick Lane. There I ate my fill of Japanese, Lithuanian, and Turkish food, plus samples from various other countries, and bought a pair of socks. Then I ran home. By the time I got home I was amazed I felt so good, better than I had the whole run in fact, in spite of yesterday's 24-mile marathon tempo workout. I decided to add on 3 more to bring the week's total to 70. Finished feeling strong.
I'd say that I really like doing my long run on Saturday, assuming there's no race. It really takes the pressure off. There's a nice feeling to having already done the most important run of your week and gotten your weekly mileage "up there" rather than putting off till the last possible time.
