Comments:
Another snowy/icy track workout. This one was also tough because of the cold the snow was super dry which meant each step felt like I was slipping even more.
Spikes didn't help here as much as the last time I think for that reason, the snow didn't pack up as well underfoot.
Other than that it was a great workout. Splits seemed fairly consistent and I felt surprisingly strong and fit. Super excited to do these kind of saturday morning track sessions when it's warm out. Soon...
Workout was 6x30 striders, 8x(300@3k pace + 100 jog)
1 mile easy
600,400,300,200 at mile pace then faster with 100walk,100jog
splits for the 300's:
61.0 (felt too fast)

(67's are right around 6 min pace which is honestly fine by me considering the snow)
Couple of blips there for sure. For the most part 67 felt very comfortable and rest around 36 was usually sufficient. Maybe these should have been faster since this portion of the workout wasn't super tough

Honestly really surprised by these. These were fairly tough, and my legs were feeling fatigued. But I think I was good about maintaining good form.
