Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
classic quarters at the track today. Above 30 degrees (although that felt colder than I was expecting) and all the snow melted so we had a clear track.
Honestly felt like garbage going into the workout. Striders felt a little slow and everything felt... creaky? Just been feeling a little tired and haven't been sleeping well I think.

Anyway the first interval felt like what should be mile pace but it was real slow (shooting for 72-73's) but the second felt the same effort level but was right on pace. I'm wondering if my warmups aren't really sufficient? Seems like a lot of first reps (or first 400's of races) have been closer to warmups. Something to think about.

Workout was 8x400 at mile pace 2 minutes rest

Not as consistent as it should be and I think wind on the home stretch got me on the last one a bit. All in all though I'd say a successful day. And a huge win to get a solid workout in feeling like garbage.
