Exercise Type: Run
Weather: lovely spring
Comments:
I think this is the day I convinced Leah to slip onto the Chevy Chase Country Club golf course with me. We easily ducked under some yellow caution tape and ran the nature trail for awhile. Eventually I was emboldened as there wasn't a soul around. We cut past the practice range and I sent her home after 23 minutes. I then returned to the outer fareways and invented a game I called "arm golf" in which I started at the Ts and threw a golf ball as hard as I could and ran after it rethrowing until I got onto the green at which point I'd kcik it into the hole. Top scores for me were 8 and 10. Played 3 or 4 houles before tiring of it. Then I spotted a beautiful red fox and pursed it (while pointing of course) across the part of the course in plain sight of the clubhouse. When I eventually left the course, there was a security fellow with a golf cart waiting for me, having seen Leah leaving earlier. He wasn't happy. I told him I understood and proceeded with my run through the neighborhoods for a bit longer.
