Comments:
Little humid/warm but not bad for this run. I am going to decrease to 45ish miles this week, not a big decrease but should help my shin, which has been on the medium side of the scale since last week. Decided to incorporate 5x1' on/1' off at the end of this run, capping it off at 50min. Overall the run wasn't great or bad. Never fully settled in but my HR wasn't terrible, which I thought it would be. Decided to run like I used to and just go off feel and refrain from looking at my watch. First mile around 7:25, easy. Mile 2 around 7:06, down hill felt easy, third mile 7:12 felt quicker than it was, fourth 6:56 felt on, 5 at 6:50 felt little quicker than it should then hit the 10 min boost with 10 min to go. This actually felt easy and good for a change. Garmin went to productive and 63 VO2 which shows it only responds to harder training...or I actually need to start picking it up. I am trying to train easy in order to build a great aerobic base without hurting myself but I may be detraining, or not doing it well enough...we'll see how the rest of this week goes. Had to go to Hull so no ice or feet soak - need to be better
