Comments:
Down to Fletcher's on the CCT and then did a loop of the parking lot, then back along the canal. Got out the door about as fast as I ever have in the morning thanks to a new strategy--I'm hoping to get up a bit earlier every day until I'm getting out the door before 7:30. Getting out before 8:30 was good today, and I feel like I got enough sleep. It wasn't very hot, somewhere in the low/mid seventies, but the humidity was like 85% and so I was having some trouble breathing and was drenched by the end. I'll get used to it I guess. My left calf was bothering me again though, and I really do think it's strained. No foot pain at least. I'm icing, rolling, massaging, and doing just about everything I can to keep it in check. I feel good otherwise though so I'm just going to run through it and only back off if it gets worse. I imagine it'll go away in a few days like it did last week with all the massaging and icing. Longer than usual stretches after plus some pushups. This is my longest run so far since my 73 mile week in mid April.
