June 26, 2020 (Morning)
Exercise Type: Bike
Weather: cool, and sunny, and not too humid or hot yet
Comments:
Hydrated with focus after morning run. Walked Sally and rested before Matt biked over and we departed 3944 shortly after 10am. Biked two hours with minimal stops except and intersection or two. Meandered past Westbrook MS and onto Little Falls tr to access MacArthur bike path. Took that to Old Anglers Inn. Falls Rd (which is always longer than I recall) to River Rd. Turned left onto Bradly and took that to Wisc and to home. Map says it was around 23.5 miles. Saddle caused some soreness. wrists were tired, of course, and I felt like I'd worked hard by the end. Still, I wasn't particularly drained and I really, really doubled down on hydration the rest of the day. Mild weather and good company made it all much, much easier. It was nice to get out of town and travel some roads which I haven't been on in ages, although also stunning to think how often I had run those roads (and once, nearly the exact route in reverse) back in my younger days.
