Sligo Creek, Northwest Branch, and Anacostia River trails

Weather: hot, 90 and humid

Comments:
Matt S came over at 12:40 and we went through the park to Silver Spring and made our way to Sligo Creek. Enjoyed seeing parts of PG county I rarely even drive through and did a bit of off-bike reconnaissance at Colmar Manor. Eventually circled into Ft. Lincoln Cemetery and found the boundary Stone (NE9?) Returned along South Dakota Ave and Missouri with a detour up Ross Dr. to avoid Military. Mapping tells me it was under 30 miles, but it did take us over 3 hours. Hillier and hotter and longer than last week. Leg's didn't have much left on the final hills, but it was fun to see Matt looking bike fit and to have all that time to chat with him. Pretty tired after.
