5am meetup! Early AF but with the time it takes to drive down Sliger - worth it.
Wanted to show Parker these trails (other than LQ, Robie/No Hands & Mich Bluff - he hasn’t seen much of the trail (other than watching us in 2013 as well)
Really enjoyable run - legs were asleep the first 2mi’s (I haven’t had coffee/caffeine in almost 3mo’s - just don’t feel like I need it.) well, could’ve used the buzz today. Legs were still feeling the grindy-ish run on Fri so didn’t have much PAAHP but the flats/downs felt solid.
Split :56 to ALT (so nice the water is on) and had a solid cruise to Brown’s Bar (:44). The descent to LQ (10mi’s in) - started to feel the first signs of fatigue, but thankfully the trail is so easy the rest of the way - it was enjoyable.
First run over 2hrs since Cannon Beach 2019! Felt good - nothing felt “weird” or off which was positive. We’ll probably do a Lake Natoma Loop next Sunday for something easier then probably hit Cal St in a few weekends! Looking forward to that.
