Easy recovery at Springview Park

Felt good today! ... Also iced/rolled out the calf quite a bit last night/today. Felt better today which is good. Also, wearing the Kinvara 11's helped as well which makes me think the old 10's have something to do with the soreness (not to mention simply running in a minimal 4mm DRAAHP shoe everyday after 9mo's of no running lol)....Optimistic I've turned a corner - plus getting the NB 890's soon will help.

Also pretty excited that I'll be heading to Cannon Beach here in a few weeks IN-MF-SHAPE! .... Not since 2017 (when training for RDL100) has this been the case.

Run was super easy .... Kept it at mid-8's ... ran on the grass the whole time (which hasn't been cut in awhile ... Oh well, helped with heel recovery!).

I've been hitting - pretty much - nothing but hilly trails the past 7-8 weeks .... Thinking of just keeping things relatively flat this week to get some leg turnover (and a break for the legs) going.
