Comments:
Did 5 miles in the middle of this at a "steady" pace, which for me right now is unfortunately only around 6:45. It'll get better though once I remind my legs how to go fast--the run is somewhat hilly (with trails) in the middle so that slowed me down and I also have been running slower this summer so it makes some amount of sense that my steady wouldn't be around where it usually is (~6 min pace). Really enjoyed this run though and felt great even though it got kinda hot by the end.
Splits for the steady: 6:44, 6:52, 6:55, 6:50, 7:00. 2 up and 3 down after. 108 total feet of climbing over the last four miles. Not too much at all, but it made it kinda harder.
