4xCardiac Hill

Comments:
Took the girls and the Kelly clan to Cardiac! ... I def didn't want to do hills again (original plan was the Lake Natoma Loop), but the whole fam wanted to do a hike so I figured it was a good opportunity to get my LR in.

I figured I could do x3 by the time they hiked down to the River - played around - and hiked back up.

Stoked to neg split! .... Given the fact 2 mo's ago I couldn't even run a single step up Cardiac #progress

Felt strong, but not "prison strong" ... but was able to stay form-focused and just chip my way up each rep. PR from YEARS ago was 8:46 .... I think I could run sub-8 with a focused effort.

The 4th rep was perf as the fam was just coming up from the river as I was popping out onto the Jeep Road.

The hike up was tough. I just "knew I was done". Burned a good amount of sugar as thats what I craved (All I could picture was downing a Gatorade). Glad to get the strength-work in!

Fun fact: Sadie beat us all up Cardiac! Ran/hiked the whole way. And Stella ran/hiked 70% of it! My tough girls - and they loved it - super proud of them.
