Didn't run yesterday cause I went skiing with my parents and brothers at Wilmot. Honestly, the skiing kinda sucked. If I really went slow, it took maybe 30 seconds to get down the entire "mountain", but whatever. Anyways, went with Hannon, Eckart, and Keenan to Niles West to do a "kenyan" workout this morning. It was supposed to be 3 miles starting at 5:45 and stepping down 20 sec/mile each one. It didn't really go that way for me though. I made it through about a mile and a half before I started tightening up real bad and got dropped, so stopped, stretched a bit, and jumped back in with Kyle for the last half mile or so, which we did in 2:20ish. The whole thing was kinda a pain in the ass. The track was 10 laps to a mile, and the curtains were down, so on half the turns we had to go to the outside of lane 3 and then cut in real sharp to avoid losing too much distance, but it really just slowed us down twice a lap cause it caused the already tight turns to be a lot tighter. Not really my type of workout at all, and felt like shit the whole time, but I suppose it's what I need more of, though I probably would've structured the workout a little differently had I done it on my own.
