Pickup workout

Comments:
After not feeling the best over the last few days I didn’t think today would be a great workout but it was actually really good. My feet have been in a little pain ever since I got them because they are new but they didn’t hurt today at all so I’m very happy about that. I also felt really good during the pickups which was surprising. So today was really good. I started out with a ten minute jog and some warmup drills then I started the five minute pickup. I did this one pretty conservatively because I didn’t think I would feel great. Then i did the 4 minute pickup. This one felt good and I went a little faster. I did the 3, 2, and 1 minute pickups a little faster but I wasn’t super tired after those so I added another pickup up a hill near my house. It was about 45 seconds. Then I ran home. I am writing this as I stretch on my porch and it seems like I missed the dark by only a few minutes. Good run overall. I’m glad my shoes weren’t a problem because I finally branched out of my ASICS GT 2000 7 which were what my last 5 or 6 shoes have been. It wasn’t a super big change because mine now are the GT 2000 9. But I was worried.
