Exercise Type: Run
Weather: steady rain, cool, 50s
Comments:
I was down in the kitchen planning to make French Toast when I saw leaves falling. "I'm allowed to run again!" I thought. Why am I inside? I quickly changed and headed north into Chevy Chase, MD. got some intel on good sites from a drenched Lew and began meandering. Had a few good stretches with multiple leaves on one block. Collected all caught leaves in pocket, which is unusual for me. Can't say as I felt fit or able to accelerate very effectively to run down distant leaves, but it felt good to run, good to be in the cold, fresh autumn rain, and good to catch ten leaves (My first of the year!?) I'll call it 3 miles, but I suspect that's an exaggeration. Unfortunately, starting Saturday afternoon and peeking now, on Monday afternoon, I've had itchy eyes, running nose, body aches, and chills during and after the twice daily antibiotics I take. Doc tells me to stop running again and we'll experiment to see if I'm reacting to the antibiotics or an infection in my picc line. More patience needed...
