Comments:
Met up with Simonson and Samet after a mile. Began to build pace in third mile along the Crescent trail down to 6:30 pace or so. Meandered through Somerset and Edgemoore and Chevy Chase with a strong final mile or so. Never felt fresh, strong, or fast, but got in a decent effort. Footing was tough at times from morning sleet. Right foot still nagging on downhills and when going fast. Last mile and a half was a cooldown.
