A familiar trail

December 10, 2020 (Afternoon)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: 50s, mild

Comments:
Running a bit late, I tired to move at a decent clip to get to GDS for a 3:30pm meeting with the half of the team which was on campus today (cohort B). Talked at them for half an hour and modeled a few panting push-ups. Then headed on alone to Ward, down to Glover and back through trail and along Wisc and 41st. Pace to Ward was 7:43 (accelerating as I loosened up). Low 7s pace for the final mile, although I didn't time the brief detour I took to run once up Ft. Reno hill. That felt good, although it winded me quite a bit and I felt like an ice truck, going up a hill of molasses in the winter time. Still, the sunset was good, the weather was good, and it felt good to be going on something that felt like a real run. First run to school was likely 6min. second run was 27 not counting the hill.
