December 14, 2020 (Afternoon)
Exercise Type: Run
Weather: 40s and a breeze made me regret the porous long sleeve goat shirt
Comments:
Set out at 5. Still a bit of lingering light in the sky, but definitely dark. Looped a twisting route through Chevy Chase, MD and finished down Conn Ave and up Livingston. I felt pretty decent again, and knowing it was going to be a short run, I stayed pretty focused on form and staying upright and aggressive in my effort. Really hard to gauge pace these days, but the effort was solid and I finished pretty strong. First half of Livingston was 1:05, but second half was 58 seconds with some deliberate acceleration. AS I went hard for the last mile or two of yesterday, I was trying to stay in control today, but it is hard to resist pushing a bit when I feel not awful.
