Getting it done

January 5, 2021 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: 30s and pleasant

Comments:
Wanted to get one more quality run in before giving blood this afternoon so I opted for a morning run. Left house at 6 sharp and intercepted Mark along Conn near Huntington. Basically took the backway to the Cathedral, Mass, Nebraska, Wisc, Upton, Vann Ness, Reno and added Livingston to Conn and back to ensure I got at least 7 miles. Nice to catch up with the Bear and Once I'd been going for ten minutes, I got into a decent groove. Last mile along Reno was 7:36 (accelerating over the last half mile) and while it felt like work, it was conversational. Biggest obstacle is maintaining consistent pace on even the smallest of uphills. Also heading to Dr. Beck this afternoon for first visit since March. Maybe he'll light a fire under me to attend to core. Sideways shuffles after run were as painful as ever.
