Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
I was pretty exhausted during this meet because I hadn’t gotten much sleep in the past few days. We did a little warmup jog then some stretching. I chilled for a bit then started my warmups for the 300 hurdles. I did the normal warmups then some hurdle warmups. Got my spikes and did some three step drills and ran over the first hurdle a few times. There was only one other girl running the race with me and I had run against her in basically every hurdle race that flint hill runs in so we kind of know each other. Ella graciously held my blocks. I got out very slow which is unfortunate. The race was okay. I felt good going over the hurdles it was mostly the running that was the issue. Didn’t feel super fast. After that I was pretty pooped so I jogged a bit then waited for the 4x4. We warmed up a tiny bit then got to the line. I was the lead off runner and I felt pretty good. I wish I felt a bit faster at this point but oh well. It was a very fun day.
