Comments:
3 miles warm up, striders, sprint drills, active stetches, 12 X 600m with 200m meter recovery after each, 800m recovery halfway through. Faster than 2 mile pace for a total of 4 1/2 miles of pickups. Avg time for first half: 1:58 (slow start - mostly 1:56's). Average time for second half: 1:53. Closed in 1:48 (about 72 for the quarter). Cool down 3 miles, with a half mile long tempo at the end.
