I was super sore when I got up this morning. The miles yesterday took a toll. Hammy and quad were particularly tight calves actually felt good. Still felt like giving it a go in later morning. It was raining out, but not much I could do about that other than stick to the trails. It was good cover and the surface was much softer. It was actually kinda chilly at spots could feel it on my legs. Hasn't been this cold in a while. I felt like I was lumbering along most of the time, just trying to keep a pace. Legs felt like bricks today. Lots of wild dogs out so I had to spend a lot of energy weaving around. Folks did not seem to mind the rain today. Coming back on Council, felt like I could go a bit more so I went back up on Huckleberry and even finished with a strider lap at QEE, just to try and shake off some rust. That was tough and I didnt give it more than one lap.

Essentials: Stretch, roll

Got into my stretch and roll when I got back. Wasn't too soaked by my socks were wet. Need to just rest my legs I guess and keep rolling. I want to push my mileage, but also don't want to keep busting my legs. This feels like a good sore but still it was tough to add on today. Also bit milestone, been in Vancouver for 6 months now. Feels like it has flown by but feels like a steady normal as well. But hey after last year we all know time can have no meaning at all. Just try to do dope shit each day and it will all flow along.
