“Uptempo Run”

4 miles is main goal, 5 miles is feeling great.

So an “ uptempo” run is not a true tempo pace run, but if you are feeling good and the conditions are descent, let's try to keep a steady pace of around 7 pace. So certainly harder effort than “easy pace”
You've been doing this on some runs anyway, so really it's just 4 miles similar to what you have been doing ...only its official this time!!!

As always pace depends on conditions!!

4 Mile Tempo Run Pace: 6:49 per mile on a hilly terrain (27:19 Time.) Felt pretty good, only time I really worked was the final mile it was all up hill.
