Exercise Type: Run
Weather: right at freezing
Comments:
After a good day of chores, I headed out solo and zig zagged through the golf course, sticking mostly to cart trails as they were generally clear of snow and ice. Also followed deer trails and the melted areas under trees. Avoiding the slickest parts, I was able to maintain pretty good speed and it was one of those great winter runs, just after sunset when the western sky was still aglow, the snow gave enough light to see, and I had the place to myself. Finished up Livingston. Maintaining the pace I'd had, I was 60 seconds to the halfway mark (indicating sub 7) and then accelerated to close the second half in 49, going strong, but not truly on my toes. Felt good and left knee was rarely an issue.
