Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Sunny out this morning. Spent some time cleaning then got out at the nicest time as it was warming up. I was sore from yesterday for sure, took me a while to shake it out. Ankles and Achilles were really tight. Decided to keep going and work through it. Just fine. Stuck to soft surfaces and that probably helped. Ran down through Chancellor to the trail then back up Salish and took that all the way to 16th. Lots and lots of people out with dogs. I had to swerve a bunch and even out run some dogs. Pushed it hard going back up the hill on Salish. Started to feel the pace on the way back but still threw a little pick up in at the end.
Essentials: Stretch
Stretched it out but calves still kinda tight. Felt like I was flopping around a little bit on the run, need some more control in my leg movements. Glad I was able to fit in some work this weekend. These weeks have been tough, just the continual grind makes it feel like its hard to catch up and recharge.
