Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Got out and it was kinda chilly. Wind coming in weird directions. I didnt want to brave it out on the coast so headed down Balaclava first to Kits beach, did a full loop along False Creek to Charleson then came back on 7th. Was feeling pretty good on way out and had lots of support passing other runners and bikers. The sun was out and it felt like a fresh day so I kept going taking advantage of the mileage. Coming back up 7th I was racing a bike, then turned at Arbutus and went all the way down to Trafalgar. Not sure how much that was going to add onto what I had done already but I was feeling pretty good especially after yesterday. Then, the ridge and the wind hit me and I slowed down a lot. Last mile was a real struggle.

Rehydrate and eat some snacks as soon as I got back. Legs are tired but not sore or beat. Haven't run this long in a while glad I could pull it out like that. Legs have some strength and distance in them, but not a lot of speed. Strength is really lacking in core and upper body and that worries me. Keep forgetting how much it takes to build and maintain that kind of strength, and how important it is for racing.
