Pleased with the past two weeks. Haven't felt good often, but I am getting out the door daily and running a decent amount. Summer heat hasn't been brutal, thankfully. It would be good to creep the mileage up to 40 over the next two weeks. 35 this week would be fine. I'd like to add a long run each week (over an hour continuous, and really, it would be best if they were over 70 minutes. If I push myself a bit in July, I should be over the hump by August and might enjoy some good runs in CA and at camp. I've been good about doing push ups mostly every other day (although rested the past two days due to the mysterious left arm pain which seems to have resolved itself after Sunday's run. Right ankle which was sprained is still stiff at the start of runs, but loosens up. It still has way too much swelling on the outside especially and bugs me walking around the house somewhat. Will try to see Dr. Back this week to work on it and address any stride issues it may have caused. Should continue to use my bike when possible as primary means of transport and avoid unnecessary refills.
