August 3, 2022 (Morning)
Exercise Type: Run
Weather: 60s and sunny with a wind in my face for the first half
Comments:
Arrived at Sea Ranch mid afternoon and headed out solo for a run along the bluff trail north from the house (at Walk On Beach), turning about a minute into Gualala Point Park. Felt very stiff and heavy early on, but loosened up and was feeling powerful (albeit heavy footed) for most of it. Headwind was tough on the first half, but made all the difference on the second half. Generally speaking it was a fabulous and memorable run with the constant ocean view, mere feet beside me below the bluff and the grasslands, windrows of cypress, and green ridgeline along the San Andreas Fault. I felt like I was moving well, despite being tired and the outdoor shower afterwards was outstanding.
