Mini workout

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: 80 and sunny

Comments:
Ran a mellow 12 minutes past McNear Park and ending at the Petaluma HS Track. Felt very tired and slow during this, but 5 striders helped a bit. A few quick stretches and began a few intervals around the track with the football team practicing within. Quickly confirmed I wasn't feeling very fresh and that I was quite short on time as Janet and Dan were coming over shortly. Settled on 4x400 with one minute recovery jogs. 86, 86, 83, 81 Only had time for the 2 minute jog home to Carol's. Trying not to focus on the actual times I ran, but instead to focus on being pleased that I did a workout at faster than 2 mile race pace as intended and that I worked hard on the last few to bring the pace down, mostly by fighting hard into the wind on the final straightaways.
