Comments:
Warm up 1 mile easy
Run 1.5 miles moderately fast at tempo pace (so nothing like 5k race pace effort... something you can sustain for a while!
Maybe 8:30 to 9 pace if I had to guess)
Rest 3 min.
Run .75 miles a notch faster (see what you can do)
Rest 3 min
Run 1.25 miles at moderate tempo pace just like the 1.5
Rest 3 min
Run .5 miles fast! See what you can do.
This workout can only be accomplished if you really go moderate on the 1.5 and 1.25 pieces. They can’t be all out since there are 4 intervals.
Obviously paces will depend on weather, hills, terrain etc.
Just take it one at a time!!!
